Book the Terrace Suite. That's the room with the in-room jetted tub. Guests rate it excellent: 4,732 reviews on the board.
“Sun-deck with hot tub/jacuzzi to ourselves!”, a recent guest
Short answer: 14 stays in our index keep a pool on the roof, and the map is not the one the brochures draw. Four are in San Antonio and three in Florida, and the rest scatter from Brooklyn to Aspen; no Las Vegas or Miami rooftop appears here, because no record in those markets has cleared our bar yet.
5 photos ✓Jacuzzi in the room Our pick in the United States: Bardessono Hotel & Spa. It holds a 9.6/10 guest score across 1,532 reviews. Inn On Fifth leads this list on reviews (4,732). On score, this is the record we'd book.

Read the list the way our research team does: a rooftop pool means a pool on or at the top of the building, open to guests. A second-floor pool with a city view does not qualify, and neither does a podium deck dressed up as one. Every stay below also names the room to book for its in-room tub, which is the standard this whole index is built on.
Every stay above is scored against the five checks our founder built from nearly a decade in the hotel industry, and named for the room that actually delivers, not the room in the brochure.
A note on this page specifically: rooftop is the most over-photographed word in hotel marketing, so this page holds a strict line. A pool counts as rooftop here only when it sits on or at the top of the building and is open to guests; a pool with a city view on the second floor is not a rooftop pool, and a podium deck three floors up fails too. Rooftop pools are also the most seasonally closed amenity in the business, and the infinity edge that shoots beautifully in July can sit drained in January, so confirm the deck is open for your dates when you book.
Rates are indicative ranges from published pricing, refreshed October 2026, live prices appear on the booking page. Our research team calls and emails properties to confirm amenities directly; a stay earns its place here only when that confirmation is on file. We list 14 properties in the US, each with its room type, guest scores and indicative range on the card. The count grows as our research team works new properties, every page is stamped with its latest research month.
Listings start from the property's own published record and are confirmed by our research team directly with the property, by email and phone. What we check is what this page promises: a pool on or at the top of the building, open to guests. 12 of the 14 stays also keep an outdoor pool, and every one of the 14 names the room to book for its in-room tub on the card; where a stay's record cannot support the rooftop claim, it does not appear here.
Inn On Fifth has 4,732 guest reviews, scoring 9.2/10. Review volume is a popularity signal, not a quality guarantee; it is one of the factors we show on every card.
The lowest indicative rate on this page is from $119/night at Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio North Stone Oak. Rates move daily; the live price for your dates appears when you tap View deal.
Private, on this page, means the water belongs to your room alone. 14 of the stays here keep the tub inside the room itself, a jetted or soaking tub behind your own door, and 2 add a private pool or outdoor hot tub of their own. Our pick, Bardessono Hotel & Spa, book the King Spa Suite, is the clearest example. Where a tub is shared with the whole hotel, our cards never give it the private label.
