The 24 Best Hotel Pools in the US

Short answer: this is our ranked shortlist of the pool properties with the strongest guest-review records in our current US research, ranked by review volume and score, shown with the data, not behind a curtain. Every card prints its receipts, score, review count, room facts. A famous pool still earns its place here only when the property confirms its details with our team.

The market, in short

Rankings here are deliberately boring: most-reviewed and best-scored first. No property can pay for position, at launch our revenue comes from booking commissions that are the same mechanics for every listing, and the ranking formula above does not include them.

The Soak Standard, how we judge the United States

Every stay above is scored against the five checks our founder built from nearly a decade in the hotel industry, and named for the room that actually delivers, not the room in the brochure.

Jet power & placementJets you can feel, placed for two spines, not one token jet.

True two-person soakLength and width for two adults, honestly measured.

Privacy & separationA door, a wall, or a deck of your own between the tub and the world.

Heat holdWater that stays hot for the whole soak, not the first ten minutes.

Room integrationThe tub belongs in the room, lighting, view, and a step-out that makes sense.

Rates are indicative ranges from published pricing, refreshed October 2026, live prices appear on the booking page. Our research team calls and emails properties to confirm amenities directly; a stay earns its place here only when that confirmation is on file. Imagery shows the destination and the amenity until licensed property photography lands. How we judge and verify →

By the numbers, the United States research notes

24 stays trackedResearched property by property for this list.

100% have a tub in the roomShare of these stays whose record carries the tub inside the room itself.

$274 median starting rateMedian indicative starting rate across 24 priced stays on this list.

100% carry guest scoresShare of stays with a guest rating on file; the rest list on room evidence alone.

Computed from the PoolsideStays dataset, research pass October 2026, figures our research team compiles from the property records themselves, published nowhere else in this form. How we judge and verify →

Questions, answered straight

How many hotels with a pool in the US does PoolsideStays list?

We list 24 properties in the US, each with its room type, guest scores and indicative range on the card. The count grows as our research team works new properties, every page is stamped with its latest research month.

Are these pool listings in the US verified?

Each listing starts from the property's own published record, the amenity, the exact room type, the guest scores, and our research team confirms listings directly with properties by email and phone. On this page the checked fact is the water itself: 633 of the 1142 stays also keep an indoor pool. A listing earns its place here when that confirmation lands, and the card prints the room or unit name that carries the amenity, that name is the contract.

Which US hotel on this list has the most guest reviews?

Avenue Inn & Spa has 4,766 guest reviews, scoring 9.6/10. Review volume is a popularity signal, not a quality guarantee; it is one of the factors we show on every card.

What is the cheapest indicative rate for a hotel with a pool in the US?

The lowest indicative rate on this page is from $117/night at Berlin Encore Hotel & Suites. Rates move daily; the live price for your dates appears when you tap View deal.

How is the “best hotel pools” ranking calculated?

From the listing data on this page: guest review count first (popularity and staying power), then average guest score. We publish the numbers on every card so you can re-rank it yourself. As our direct-verification program completes property by property, verified status will be shown alongside, but it does not buy rank.

What hotels in the United States have private jacuzzis?

Private, on this page, means the water belongs to your room alone. 24 of the stays here keep the tub inside the room itself, a jetted or soaking tub behind your own door, and 3 add a private pool or outdoor hot tub of their own. Our pick, Captain Freeman Inn, book the Dennis Whirlpool Room, is the clearest example. Where a tub is shared with the whole hotel, our cards never give it the private label.
